1st, what’s your location?…that will determine if there’s a walmart in your vicinity. I know they don’t have them in some parts of the world.

Where do you live? If you live in the US, you can go to, and there is a store locator. You just type in your zip code, and it tells you where there is a Wal-Mart, and it also offers directions.

mistersato on 21 July, 2009 at 8:14 pm #

Wal-Mart is the BIGGEST RETAILER IN THE WORLD. They’re bigger than General Motors and Microsoft put together. No kidding.

They buy cheap stuff from China, sell it at low prices in the U.S., and pay poverty-level wages. They drive local stores out of business and contribute next to nothing to the tax base, which must fund schools, police, fire departments, etc. They bust up any attempt to unionize their workers and they price their health plan so that many employees can’t afford it. They’re bad, bad, bad.

Check out the documentary by Robert Greenwald, “Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price.”
