LCD televisions have come into fashion since the early 1970s and now, in 2007, they have earned their own share of the commercial market. Manufacturers of computers, mobile phones and IT gadgets produce LCD televisions as well. All the producers everybody is familiar with also market LCDs. To enumerate just a few of these LCD television manufacturers, we should begin with Samsung, Sharp, Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba, Orion, Dell, LG and end with Funai, Alien View, Nec, Vortex and Platinium. Classic TV manufacturers have taken up this new line of production in order to preserve their competitiveness. However, each company focuses on one type of LCDs, affordable ones, high resolution LCDs, widescreen LCDs, etc. As long as there is scientific and technologic progress, there will be improvements in the field of LCD flat screen televisions for manufacturers to adapt and bring out.
