I recently moved from the state of Florida and I must say that one thing I do not miss, among the many, was the high cost of powering a home. Back when I was getting four and five hundred dollar electric bill for my average size home, I would have given just about anything to have a few energy efficient appliances. I have always thought that these particular appliances would have a minimal effect on my electric bill, however, when my electric bill rivals my mortgage any effect, not matter how little would be worth it just to see my electric bill shrink.
