A lot of dolls on the market today have vinyl bodies, arms, and legs. This allows little girls to give thier dolls a bath and take them in the bathtub with them. Getting their hair wet should not be a problem. However, many dolls have hair made of yarn instead of synthetic fibers. If your little girl has dolls with hair made of yarn, she should not take them into the tub with her. The hair will not look the same after it has been wet, especially if shampoo is used on it. Hair made of yarn cannot be brushed either. The yarn will fray and unravel. If your daughter likes to take a bath with her dolls, be sure to get her dolls that do not have hair made of yarn.
