I applied for a local Wal-Mart store job. How long will it take till I start work, if hired?

    I urge you to avoid working at Wal-Mart. They are notorious for mistreating/overworking/underpaying employees.

    These stores effectively shut-down local stores and move profits out of the community. Employees are sometimes encouraged to seek public assistance to meet their needs, further burdening the local community.

    Do not shop/work/invest in Wal-Mart.

    I dont know bout you, but I applied in Feb of this year. I was hired in May of this year. Slow ya, but I’ve been working there for the past 4 months. I love it. But watch out, they make you work some weirrrd shifts *yawns*
