Human operators are still part of any  surveillance  system. Even with all sorts of automation and alerts, humans as of now still need to be part of any kind of security system. Systems for surveillance, as a matter of fact, need to be able to conform to human needs, and not the other way around. Since such is the case, user friendliness has to be a major consideration in any surveillance system that is to be considered for purchase. Otherwise, it would be very difficult, if not impossible to make effective use of a system.
