They are neons if that helps.
One of them has a broken tail from one of my agressive fish. Will they buy it anyways?
I have five of them.

I wouldn’t think you could see them to Walmart, especially if you kwow it’s injured. I mean as a customer I wouldn’t want to buy them. And on a note, every time I’ve gone by the fish they look half dead anyway
You could just give them to a friend, and you know they will be ok there.
No, walmart does not buy fish from people, only some local pet stores will. If you need to get rid of them you can put an ad on craigs list in the pets section. it is free and people do it all the time..
Good luck
I sincerely doubt even Walmart will take (not buy) any fish that’s obviously injured. They stock fish with the intent to sell them for profit, after all, and no one is going to want to buy a fish that appears unhealthy or injured.
You also want to keep in mind that Walmart’s tanks are not well cared for and the people that buy live fish from Walmart are often not well-informed or prepared to care for the fish (you know the kind I mean.. they’re the ones buying a small tank kit and $50 worth of fish on the same shopping excursion).
If you want your neons to wind up in a home where they will be taken care of, you should seek out a friend or neighbor with a tropical aquarium who is willing to take them in or just give them to a local pet shop and hope that they are bought by a knowledgeable hobbyist. I can tell you the wholesale price on large neon tetras is around $0.48 per fish if you want to haggle with your local pet store. Maybe if you offer them at a lower price, they’ll be more willing to buy them.
most likely unless you bought it there with a receipt, no store will buy your fish and probably wont take it. Walmart even if they did they would kill it. They dont know how to take care of fish.
if you sell your fish to walmart, you might as well just kill them now…none of the fish sold there are in good condition, i would advise against giving them to walmart….a better choice to DONATE (which means you get no money no matter what) would be petco or petsmart
