It wasn’t until World War 1 that pocket-watches began to be replaced by wrist watches and some of the finest such time pieces were made by Bulova. Their clocks were made in Switzerland but in 1920 Bulova set up a watch making business in New York City. The standard of excellence was exceptional with each moving part being exactly made in the smallest detail. The Bulova strap watch had interchangeable parts which made the servicing of wrist watches so much easier for customers and staff. Today Bulova is as active as ever with new clocks and watches being designed and made to exacting standards. A Bulova watch is a work of art.
