With so many varieties of borescopes on the market today, shopping for the instruments can be very confusing.  There are rigid borescopes and flexible models, with some being much more flexible than others. Before buying a rigid borescope, consider what you will using the borescope for. You may find that a flexible borescope would be more useful to you. Regardless of whether you purchase a rigid or a flexible model, be sure the borescope will provide you with a quality image. Otherwise, the instrument is useless.
