The Prom is a huge event mainly in America. It is an occasion for both young men and women to get dressed up and attend usually the school hall, where a large party will occur. This is usually a well organised event and quite a formal occasion. The young girls main priority is their hair and clothing. It is often at this stage they start to look for cheap prom shoes and various styles of prom hairstyles that they can copy. The thing about the prom is that everyone wants to outdo each other. So often a lot of jealousy will occur but is usually forgotten about during the night.

the teenage years are here is filled with a lot of mistakes — and some teenage girls make major mistakes. For example, some conceive a child, although they are not married. This is why we need to make available maternity prom dresses — these young girls have made a mistake and they have paid for it. Now all they want is to have a little fun and relax from the pressures of life. Aren't they entitled to that? Isn't that something that we want for ourselves?– then how can we deny it to these girls who have been through so much trauma and heartache.

I am often an eBay buyer when it comes to jewelry. I heard somewhere that mis-spelling a search term on eBay can result in a wonderful buy, so when looking for a necklace I purposely entered "nekclace". Lo and behold, I came upon a beautiful peridot necklace with a replacement value of over $1000, and an opening bid of $30.00. I bid $30 and won the auction! It is an absolutely gorgeous piece which I could never have afforded otherwise. The next time you are searching on eBay, keep that in mind and forget you know how to spell!

What is it with the leg size in these plus size pants, jeans and trousers anyway? Man I go into the store and I find what I want and there is 3 choices for leg size; small, medium and large. Now while I'm not basketballer tall I'm not exactly a shorty either however from experience I know I have to get short leg and even then the leg size is usually too long, sometines 2 feet too long. They are plus size right? It seems to me they make them to fit a 10 foot tall person whose body weight index would be fine for his height.

Well the end of the year is near and it's time to think about the past and the future but it's also time for gifts. I was worried about the christmas present for my nephew. I need to buy him a gift but I'm not good picking presents for kids, but thanks God for the internet, and googling arround I found some skate shoes called heelys shoes

This shoes were pretty cool but there are lots of models, so I had to pick the right one and after some research I decided to buy the heelys torch model

Torches are cool, comfortable and my nephew was really happy so I know I made the right choice. Now you know, next Christmas, check on these cool skate shoes if you need to by something for a kid.

Ah ha! New Year's.  I have a post Christmas party tonight and then Monday - New Year's Eve! We're going to one of the Boston hotels for the annual NY bash there.  It should be a big party of us old friends (well, not so old really but you know what I mean!).  It's a melee and I plan to do a lot of dancing so I better get a winter party dresses today that makes sense. Here's one at ShopBop that I really like the look of -  It's a Mara Hoffman Strapless, print-silk dress with wire at deep V neck and ruching at bodice. Wraparound sash extends from bodice and ties at waist. Hidden zipper at back. Between the plunging nackline and the thigh exposure, I think it's for me.  Better yet, the dress was originally $440 and is now HALF PRICE!! $220The Significant Other will think this is totally cool.  He won't care what I look like but he'll love the frugality of it! Poor fool!

See Ya!

Love

This one is for your New Year's Eve Bash.  As LBD's go, this one's a winner!  It's a Foley+Corinna Baby Ribbon dress.  You can find it at ShopBop, which a cool outlet for the new designers like Jenni Kayne, Peter Som and Couture Couture and knockout dresses like this one.  It's a silk-chiffon dress with satin banding at square neck, empire waist, and bottom hem. Tie at waist and ruching throughout. Hidden zipper and V at back. 1" straps. Contrast lining. I love the length (mid thigh). The item # is FOLEY20029 and the price $394.

Where are you headed anyway?  I'm going to the Ritz and then on to a little club I know if everything works out.  (Wink! Wink!)

Have fun!

Love

I love my Ugg boots. They are warm and amazingly comfortable. I wear them without socks and the wool cushions my feet and keeps them warm.  I also love the light chestnut color that seems to go with whatever I'm wearing. They're perfect to wear in the snow. The one thing I have learned is that you really don't want to get them wet.  I don't wear them if it's wet outside or if I'm going to have to be walking in deep snow. They are perfect however when it's cold and dry, or when the snow is cleared away from most areas where you're going to be walking.  I've had my Ugg Sheepskin boots for about seven or eight years now. I bought them when they first arrived on the scene in the US.  I've taken care of them and they look as good as new.

It seems today that celebrities of all kinds, actors and actresses, models and singers are expanding into the role of fashion designer. Is it really that easy?  What makes someone like Sarah Jessica Parker or Jessica Simpson think they can design clothes for the masses?  Certainly Sarah Jessica Parker's Bitten fashion line is trying to woo women from a financial standpoint, with none of the clothing priced over $20.  Sorry, but it's impossible to make a quality garment for $20. I think she's doing much more of a disservice to women who are going to end up wasting their money on cheap clothes.  At least with other celebrity designers like Beyonce and Kimora Lee can actually proudly wear their own designs.
